Stupid Question about emblems

Ok I got to page 11 of the XB2 thread and gave up I was trying to find out how easy is it to remove the front and rear Scion emblems?? I want to remove them and replace them with custom painted Scion emblems.....


Just want to hear from someone who has done it...is it just on with two way tape on both the front and rear?? I know it seems like a stupid question but I know of some emblems that are bolted on or have to be drilled to remove so dont wanna get into something like that but if its on there with tape then I will do it

Just two way tape. There will be holes in the back and front though after you remove them. Just get em nice and warm and you can peel them off. Use goo gone to remove the adhesive once they are off. Hope this helps.

Mine is stingray metallic and I plan on doing my front emblem in blue with white lettering against the stock black grille and a black one with white lettering against the blue in the rear should be a nice contrast since the XB is mostly blue and black on the oustide

lol I do sometimes go to bed thinking about a certain mod then wake up with a whole fresh outlook on that mod.... work hard to get it done and whala its a dream come true lol :BlahBlah02:

Yea, and let me tell you it was a pain in my @$$. If your hand isn't steady it will look like crap. I used acrylic hobby paint for the lettering and my excess wheel paint for the rest

Yea I wanna chrome my emblem and do the letters in black. Hopefully it turns out lookin atleast decent. HAHA

That carbon Fiber xB tag looks BEASTLY can i Haz one? ANd i heard using a peice of thread might work and shouldn't mess up your paint like run the thread between the emblem and the car
