is it possible to put a tc engine into the xa? or quite possibly anything that has more power then the stock engine

i think the 2ZZ will fit in the xA. i always wondered about the new xB motor if it would fit. has anyone ever done a motor swap in the egg?

yea they reason i was asking is because im a fan of the hatchback and i figure the car would book it with a tc engine and it would be a sleeper

Get the 1ZZ-GE from a 7th gen Celica. It makes more power than the 2AZ-FE and HAS been swapped into a B already. I would think if the B can do it the A can too

if i remember right i wanted to put a celica gt-s motor in my car and i heard you had to push/cut the firewall back about 2" and relocate 2 motor mounts

the corolla 1.8 will fit (out of the XRS) and produces 165hp stock, aslo come mated to a 6 speed if your lucky. Not a cheap swap but its nasty as shown here:

That's nice, but it was stupid posting a video of dangerous (and illegal) driving. It's easy to go fast in a straight line. Show it on a racetrack instead. If I remember correctly, I beat a tuned SRT4 Neon last time I autocrossed.

that xa with the XRS motor was sick.
i wonder how much fabrication they had to do to fit the motor?
