I am looking into getting a signal processor for my system and need help picking one. I am competing in SPL comps and I am looking for the best for my money. I am favoring more towards the Maxxlink because you can hook up to 5 amps onto it and it has a clipping indicator on the bass knob. The only question I have is where am I going to put the knob. I have never heard a Maxxlink before but I know it is a good pick due to reviews and other people using them. The second is a 16-VBF1 from Memphis. I have heard this bad boy in person and it sounds really good to the hear. It does not have a knob but it does have a clipping indicator on the processor itself. Both are under $110 shipped which is cheap so I am not really worried about the price but more towards performance. Thoughts are helpful. Thanks.
I am running a DC Lvl 5 18" on a Cadence ZRS-8000D amp wired at .5ohm making about 2700w daily in a 6cu ft box tuned at 37hz.

What exactly are you expecting out of these products. I'm not sure I understand what they do. Well, I know what a line driver does but the other?

basically it magnifies the sound or signal of the music to make your system louder. they are very good and helpful if you know how to tune with one but very dangerous if you are not.
Line Driver, Sound Processor, Signal Processor. SSDD (same shit different day)

i dont understand either. they're 2 different products. your only running the one cadence amp so you dont need the hifonics module. you might check out some of audio controls products like the epicenter and overdrive line driver or the phoenix gold bass cube. woofersetc has both of those brands.

2 different products but they do the same function.
Currently I only have the one Cadence but next year I plan to have 2 Powerbass XTA5000D amps.

Not exactly....a line driver doesn't do any kind of processing. It's also known as a line amplifier and for the most part is worthless, I would mark that one off your list. Some will argue that it increases your signal so that you can turn down the gain on your amplifier (for less noise) and still get full output. It does increase your signal, but will also increase the noise floor at the same rate since it amplifies everything.

i looked up the powerbass xta 5000d amp and with the exception of the line driver it seems to have everything you want already built into it. plus they have 2 "bass accelerators" signal processors you might like.

This looks to be a more useful item for what you are wanting to do I believe. Still a line driver but with some useful features like parametric eq.

So the maxxlink is the better way to go, it will give it more sound to the ear. now next question, will it help any with gaining db in my spl comps?
these items are all still new to me so i am asking so many noobie questions on them
