Ok I am seeking some ideas. A friend of mine has a tc with all the air bags and doesnt want to put a gauge pod on the A pillar for fear of blocking the air bag or having the pod fly out and being hit by it.
Ok EXCLUDING the dashboard where can we mount some gauges??
I was thinking take out the cigarrete lighter since we are non smokers and shave down the lil hump in the cubby thats good for 2 gauges atleast. Any other suggestions??

There's a 3-gauge pod that goes on the dash.. above where the 2 vents are.
There's also a CF Gauge Plate that goes inside the radio door.... if you have a single-din HU.
You can also get a CF Plate (or something else) and place 2 gauges in the center cubbyhole.

The dash kit is out of the question gauges on the dash are tacky and for track cars.
Any ideas on where I look at getting the CF plate for the radio door??
The cubby hole was where I was thinking would be the best bet.
Thanks Nick.

check scion life. i know there is a guy on there selling a cf plate that you can put gauges in. another option is the glove box or on the steering wheel tree.

Ben I thought about the steering wheel tree but that might block the existing gauges. Thanks for the SL idea I will check there..

they block only slightly. they look pretty decent from pics i've seen. also if you get a good bracket try the right side of the center console. i know theres someone in SL that has that.

Thanks Nick and Ben I did go over to Sl and look at those, I personally like them. Now its up to my friend since its not going into my TC. I believe the attempt is to put them some where in the dash to give it a cutom/oem look, its supposed to be clean and out of the way.
Thank you guys for the info, if you think of anything else let me know.

Drop the coin and have Dakota Digital design cluster sets that fit in the OEM location, they make some badass stuff and in the three cluster set you can fit like 15 digital gauges. Have all the info you may need .. and still look stock. They made me a 5 gauge digital cluster for my xB and it is slick ..

it may be too late, but just for everybodies reference, i have the SCA, and they come out of the top of the window, not the a-pillar. I pulled of my a-pillar, and all that is there is a couple of wires and tubes (prob remote and air im guessing). as long as you dont pierce the tubes, i see no problems, and since then i have mounted my guage pod right in the a pillar
