muffler instead of exhaust

so i have been reading around a bit, and it sounds like a lot of xb1 owners are doing a simple muffler instead of an axel back exhaust.

what do you guys have, and what do you think, from a low cost style standpoint would be the best move?

picked up mine for $100 slightly used. After you pay to get the muffler installed you might as well have gotten the axleback.

Strup FTW! Best sounded exhaust for the gen1 b in my opinion. It's deep(for a 4cyl engine) and isn't raspy!
