My o6' tc sunroof started whistling when closed a few weeks ago when i drive over 60mph, now its intermittently whistling below 50mph and even as low as 30mph, opening and closing doesnt fix, and i wanna know if this is a easy fix or do i have to go to the stealership for this one???????????thanx

Man yeah that shit is annoying....mine did it for a while then it just stopped one day... I know this isnt especially helpful but just leting you know.... if you still under 36 grand the stealership should be obliged to fix anything you dont like

How many miles do you have on your car? This should be a warranty fix.

are you positive its the sunroof mine had a whistle and it was the weatherstripping under the hood.. not the one that sits on the hood when u open it but the one thats on the bumper between the headlights i took that weatherstripping off and my whistle has not returned

There is another thread on this somewhere. I have the same problem and an actually taking it in tomorrow to have it looked at. Mine is on the drivers side and usually starts at about 80-85 mph and depending on the wind sometimes, it will start at about 55-60.

Any warranty work involves a $50 deductible

Warranty isnt insurance, no deductible, and i know its coming from the sunroof, hard to mistake a whistle right above your head. and its also intermittent, so im thinking something temperature related, maybe a seal or something that expands and contracts a little.
