Interior Lighting System

Has anyone had the dealership install the Interior lighting system ( LED cup holder and bars) in there Scion? I ordered my car with this package and after it was installed the 2 LED bars under the dash are blue but the 2 LED lights in the cup holder are way more purple looking...... :( I took my car back to the dealership and they ordered another kit (so they said) :wink: and I was told that the kit was the same and that is how it comes from the factory and there is nothing that they can do. :naughty: I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you rectify it. I would rather have the purple look cuz my tC is FM and it flows better IMO. If this is how they come from the factory how would I go about changing the LED?s in the bars under the dash?

They should be all blue. Every one I see come out of our dealership is pretty true color. Like the blues look blue and such.

Go to a different dealer for a second opinion.

Yeah mine is blue plus a few extra blue things....like gauges, radio, a/c, door controls, knob shifter, and cubby...its all pretty much blue..even when i had just the factory lighting

Check your set up .. lately around here we have been installing the multicolor cup holder lights with the single color under dash. Keep pressing the illumination button and see if they continue to change colors, it could just be locked on purple.

Thats my guess at least.
