I'm not quite sure, I've read about it as well. I believe there is some stuff out there where you spray it on the headliner like spray paint. I'm wanting to get my headliner dyed too...

i've done three headliners up here. dyed one maroon, and the other two black. takes about 4 cans of the duplicolor fabric dye to do 1.

Blue suede you say, Do you have any pictures? That would look pretty sweet. About how much fabric did it take? I am thinking of doing mine something similar.

I'll see about some pics for you... I can get the fabric at cost and it was about 3-4 yards but you need to buy the bad ass glue for headliners!!! don't go cheap on this part!!!

The dye worked good..we removed the headliner and did it in our garage and we used the same dye in black to do the sun visors.

I know not to go cheap on glue. Last summer I had the pleasure of recarpeting a 26 foot pontoon boat. That is some heavy duty glue. 3-4 yards will do all of the tC? did you also do door and sunvisors or just the headliner?

did you just wrap the suede over the fabric already on the headliner or did you have to remove it? i imagine not but just figured I'd ask.....

i think it is alot easier to have it replaced, the fabric that is. i took my headliner down stripped the fabric and had an upholstry (spell?) shop wrap it in suede (spell?) i like it alot better and there is no chance of the color ever coming off or anything, well i guess you wouldnt touch your headliner much but you know what i mean.

If you do this you need to comb the fabric.. if not it will turn out looking wierd...
Personally I dont like the look. and you really can never get even coats.

which will last longer?
using that type of spray paint for the headliner
or to just redo all of it the color you want...
i've seen some people not do their tc's right and it fall down everywhere
