Im currently new with my 1st 08 scion tc (an automatic and mostly stock :|). I'm getting bored of its slowness. Just asking for opinion and advice that what could i done to it to make it faster ( from 160hp to ~2xx) . Would i have any chance to get a Supercharge kit USED with that much of money ?

p.s : I already got my Fujita CAI

If your looking to get into the 2xx Range, the only viable option is going boosted... I haven't heard of any N/A tCs hitting the 200 mark. (Doesn't mean it can't happen with upgrading internals and whatnot, but not for anything close to $1000)

Also, Going boosted means getting rid of your intake in its current form.

They have cheap ebay turbo kits for under a grand, but you get what you pay for and you still need engine management and dyno tuning.

As dezod puts it best you can only have to RELIABLE, FAST or CHEAP.. Pick your two.

Keep in mind as said above you get what you pay for, and actual turbo kits from companies like turbonetics, greddy, dezod, p tuning and world racing are tested on our car's and proven to work while being reliable. Keep an eye on other forums I saw a complete turbonetics kit go for 1000.. with 10K miles on the kit.

i know people who have built turbo kits for about 2k. still you get what you pay for and to get a na engine over the 200 mark it will take probably 3-4 k. It depends on what you want as fast though? Are u a straighline guy or(your like me) like to go fast on road and auto x courses?

save you 1k and wait till you get like 2-3k more and get a sweet turbo set up...or do like most scion people do, blow it on led's and spray paint, hahaha jk

well if you like the road race. look into the dg sway from dezod it will make the car handle a lot better. some springs and a the rear brace from ingalls. the car will handle a hell of a lot better. i am about to finish mine with the brace and the it is a save up to build my turbo kit.
