yall think those head lights any good? they look hot... but im not sure about the quality of the item... they are from ebay...

JDM my ass... I hate fake-labeled JDM stuff.

Those lights are very cheap looking to me. I've seen them in person on 2 cars. First off - the eyebrow on the top... it lights up, yes, but the look of it compared to stock is ugly as sin. The side marker looks like it's just tossed in there.. plus it's still yellow/amber. The turn signals are 2 little led's... and look horrible to me. The angel eye rings are oversize and don't look good. And last, but not least..... the projector itself is BLUE. JDM lights aren't blue... they're yellow.... 4300K if i'm not mistaken.

Plus I think those projectors are made for halogen lights only. I have HID's.... 8000K... which are already blue. The blue projectors would make it purple or might not even let nearly as much light out.... cuz of the filtering.

hey well do yall know any nice loking projectors out there that i can buy and not have to custom? bc i saw this thread on SL talking about the cut off isnt straight for projectors. soo i dont know about those lights anymore... bc right now i have HID on a tc and it doesnt give off a good cutoff... so if anyone knows about anything out there PM or aim me up at cu0ngsayz on aim thanks

the ones they are mass producing maybe going to be all black or chrome.

I read on SL that it would be 599 intro price for the luck 100 who paid $20. (which I am part of too) Superwhite, are those really what they will look like? You have the production sample? That looks hot! would like to see those in person. Now I am really psyched!

those were the ones that were posted on SL for a customer who wanted them done. Umnitza said that those were what they were going to look like also, just not white like the pics, they will be black or chrome.

from what i can find:


well, let's run the numbers based on what I know our supplier sells them to us for other cars for:

Assume the headlights alone will be $349-399 with the angel eyes built in.

Assume they will be in 2 flavors - D2S - $325 more, or H7.
The H7 are ONLY for halogen, though I'm sure some "birdie" will allow you to "play" and do "things" to it...hint hint.

The D2S will be ONLY HID.

So about $650 for everything with angel eyes (ours) and HID and new projectors.

Yup.....i cant wait for these to be finished and find out about them...i will take a little credit and being one of the first back in November to help piss him off and get a list of people that want to buy

You gotta understand...the tC has been around of a while now and not one company has come out with a direct replace of our headlights.....so when you post a tC general area and state "What hids can do for you" and show nice pics of ANOTHER car....then you need to understand you will catch heat!!!

I am looking forward to these lights coming out to. I was gonna get on that list but I thought it was kinda weird to throw in money to someone, and then have the chance they could turn around and say well we fabbed them up but it wasnt a success and then like that its over.

The lights look good and I might have to grab them when the come available..

I'm on that list too, and come to think of it, I have sprayed and clear cornered and angel eyed my lights without projectors and I like them way too much to take them out and sell them after all the hard work I put into them, so I may give up my spot but have to think about, until I see what the price is going to be. If I can sell my headlights and come out even and pay for the new lights with HID then I will ge them, but dunno yet.

I'm bumping this because for SnGs I browse eBay to see if there are any more variety to mods. I'm seeing more variations on projector lights. Have there been any updates from reliable headlight sources? I'd love to get HIDs but I'd also love projector headlights.

i only know of the eBay ones and then theres the ones from that one sponsor onscionlife.

they say they are better than the ebay ones but they look exactly the same.
i dont care for them though, also i beleive they are just for use with regular halogen bulbs not HIDs.

there's 2 styles - the first blue projector ones, and a 2nd dual-projector... Neither look like good quality to me, and I know for a fact the blue projector ones leak like crazy. The dual-projector ones probably will too.

i got the ones that evey ones dissing. and it all depends how you wire them up as to what blinks when you have ur turn signal on. they look really good on my car. its a black tc so i dont' understand y everyone thinks they look cheap and ugly. i think they look great and i'm usually a pretty picky person. i'll get some shots up when i get time to take pics.

Are they the dual projectors or the one with the led's in the eyebrow and blue projectors? The blue projector ones just plain look cheap and tacky to me.
