picked up a little speed resistor today. noticed that there are 5 ports to choose from. which one?

You just got scammed. Those things don't work. If you do a search on "speed chips" (which is the same thing), you'll see that all they do is make the intake air seem a couple degrees colder so you get slightly more fuel put in. On a N/A engine, there is no benefit. Even on a F/I engine, it will only give you a MAXIMUM of 1 or 2 horsepower.

Dude do not do that. i would not put it in cause you can have the chance of messing up the ecm. and funny thing is you can buy that at a local radio shack for 99cents.

Haha, if you know where to look, you can get those resistors online for about a nickle apiece. 99 cents would still be a rip-off.

Haha, so do I....from tearing apart VCR's, DVD players, calculators, and pretty much anything electronic. I take things that are broken and harvest their parts.
