Just installed the TRD lowering springs on the tC and was wondering how long it takes for them to settle? I was going to wait on my alignment until then. 1 week? 2 weeks? a month? Thanks.

someone once told me I should get an alignment after lowering the car. I am guessing the tires will wear quicker without one........

yeah, your probably right, I was going to get the S-Techs before, but decided on TRD at the last minute. I was probably thinking about the S-Techs then. Thanks. Saved me some cash!

excellent... I guess I'll road test 'em and watch/feel for anything just incase. Saving $ is always a good thing.

TRD is aftermarket...

You dont need a alignment unless one its dropped 2" ussually or you do somthing like sways.........

Good thing I asked, I have thought of TRD as factory gear, not aftermarket.

All cars are different. When I put on my TRD's, my rear camber was out of spec and I had to get an alignment and get the camber adjusted. I would highly recommend getting an alignment after 2-3 weeks, no matter what lowering springs you use. It is cheaper to get an alignment than it is to have to buy a whole new set of tires because of uneven wear.

If stuff is marked upon removal and put back straight I dont see a alignment needed

wait im kinda confused. i know i need an alignment after i put my springs in a few months ago i was also reminded of that recently when i got my new brakes at firestone. i was gonna have an aligment after i put sways on and camber my rears. so are you guys saying that alignment is not needed now??

To sum it up...

If you are an expert modder like Keith is and mark everything and put everything back on exactly where it was AND your ride was recently aligned...you could wait, but if in doubt, spend the few bucks and save your tires by getting the alignment.

I think that is the advice I would go with. :-)
