We don't really have an official thread for just lowered/coilover setups besides bags. We need 1! lol.
Anyway, installed my raceland coilovers on Tuesday. First few pics are before pics, then after pics ;) I have it dropped down kinda even right now, gonna wait till they settle and readjust probly a bit lower in the front to match the back.
As far as actual drop from stock I'm not sure. Didn't measure before but I didn't have stock wheels on anyway. I went from having 4 fngers though to a tight 1 sitting on 18x8, +40 offset with 235/40's.
Anyway onto the pics.

How's the ride? Did you fix the tire rubbing issue(fender roll or just more negative camber)?

They ride good so far. Getting use to the stiffer ride is a bit weird sometimes. Mainly my gravel driveway where we just laid a bunch of new gravel down it's bumpy till it settles and I feel it lol. But as far as handles the car corners a lot better now. I ended up taking my strut bar off when I installed because when I tightened the top mount bolts down, they basically smushed the aluminum.
So the raceland strut bar looks nice and does help handling but the ends shoulda been made of steel at least. Gonna order a different one here soon along with my sway.
As for the rubbing, I found out where and why it rubs. My tires are a bit more beefy than I had originally wanted, kinda ordered the wrong size lmao. Meant to tell the guy 225 35's. But oh well. Main thing is when I was hit last year in the rear, they didn't pull the metal back out quite as far as it should be where the bumper comes up where the screw is right here:

Looking at it from the back, the fender doesn't stay straight but it kinda turns in right there, so I think if I pull it out a bit it'll be fine. The camber though helped a ton. Not rubbing a bit on my other side.

Thanks.
I ordered it from Ebay. It's just like the VRD's basically but not. Kinda like the APT fogs.
The fitment is really great, no problems whatsoever with it. Just unclipped my stock and clipped these right on and they fit and look perfect.
The seller I bought it from along with ParkJotC, was Advanation. I just checked his items though and I didn't see this same grill.. They've only got the oem stocks for some reason. You can try pming and asking about it. They had these for like $69.

still iffy on racelands gear...if you "smushed" the aluminum on a strut bar just by tightening the bolts down makes me wonder how long before you "smush" the aluminum in your coilovers...but maybe im wrong and they turn out to last and be good...iunno

I was reading on SL that the Raceland Coilovers are great until about 5 months down the line (I don't know what kind of mileage that is or how they are used). A couple of people were saying that the ride kinda gets a bit harsh after that. That's why I'm iffy on them. I got my strut tower bar from them and just need to finish painting it and install it.

I've heard people auto x with them without issues but I'll agree with you James if I did auto x often I would spend about $1200 on a good kit and really work the suspension.
And yeah I did have the issue on the strut bar. I was giving it all I had basically to get them as tight as I could.. Which I didn't do when I first put it on. Very unfortunate but I didn't expect it to be solid steel for $37 so I'm not too bummed. I may see what I can do with it though and repaint it again. I could tell a difference in my cornering with it on, reduced roll. I really want it on now that I have my coils cause it'd make even more diff with the higher spring rates. If not then I suppose I'll order another and paint it instead.
