I just put on a megan drift spec exhaust with a mid pipe. I love it but i have run into an issue or what could be an issue. There is a black bar about six inches going across where the exhaust is. It just started to rattle and at first i thought it was the gasket and it needed to be replaced anyway so i replaced that but it still rattled and figured out it's where the black bar is and it's barely hitting it. My friend said that it had just settled into where it will normally sit. he also said i could either heat wrap it to get rid of the rattling or i can remove that black bar but i want to know if anyone has removed it and what's the reason for it?
