I think i have a sensor light that just came on a few weeks ago.. could be because of the AEM Cai?!?..
Its the lights that looks like an exclamation mark inside a flat tire?!? haha.. dont know how else to discribe it.. does that sound like a sensor light? My idle has been a little rough lately also.. i DO NOT have a header, just cold air and killerglass.. thats it under the hood.
Guess i need to have that checked out.

That's the Tire Pressure Monitor light... check your tire pressures.

that is your tire pressure sensor light. you've got a tire that is low. you need to check the pressure, air up and then reset it. did you not read the owner's manual? if you had some type of engine problem, you would have gotten a check engine light, or maintainence required light. just my $0.02.

no....just they design of the system is different. on the 05 and 06, the sensor is in the abs unit. on the 07, its in the valve stem.

hmm if i have some air leakage it must be really slow.. cuz the light has been on for like 2 0r 3 weeks.. i didnt think the '06 had the sensor.. but i'll check the manual when i get home.

it probably has to do with the change in temps that we've been having down here. i was having the same problem about 3 weeks ago when it was super cold in the mornings. just check your pressures and go from there.

Tangent Question....
I have an 05 and mine is on, but my air pressure is good... HOWEVER... my tires are warped/fubar/shitty/ect and are not balancable(is that a word?) I get alot of wheel wobble at 50+mph and I drive everyday on the highway. Could this cause the light to go on?
The tires are being replaced soon as I get paid so its really no biggy I'm just curious.
PS. Wanli tires can suck my ass

i don't think wobbly wheels could be the problem. if you said that your pressure is good, then you might just have to reset the sensor. there is a button in the glove box. i think you just have to hold it for like 3 seconds with the ignition in the ON position.

Yes, '05's and '06's have the TPMS... It's not valve stem/wheel based.. it's rotational speed based. Check your tire pressures.

I did check pressure and I did reset it... I'm not particularly worried about it but I'll double check for the sake of being thorough.

Every time my light comes on, I hit the reset button and all it does it shut off for a couple seconds, flashes 3-4 times, then stays lit again... Of course it hasn't happened lately, obviously...

yeah hold the button until it goes off then hold it once more until it flashes 3 times...then your sensors should be reset! just make sure your tire pressures are good and it shouldnt go off anymore...however change in temps can cause the light to go off no biggie just make sure your tire pressures are all good and reset again. its a pain in the ass I KNOW

You should. Tire Pressure Monitoring System is required on all new cars I think.

it doesnt mean you need service...it just means that his tire pressure has dropped...read the manual

It will happen too if you change your rims... the tc 17s have sensors in them. I upgraded to the 18s and they have no sensors in them so now my light is on all the time till switch out the sensors to the the 18s. I learned the hard way.

have you tried using the rest botton to turn of the tire pressure light?

Yea I have the new 18s that I have have no sensor in them. I have to get the sensors out of the old ones and put them in the 18s. I went to the dealer and they were like why the hell wont it turn off then I told them how I switched the rims out and they told me that .

Im not sure call the dealer you got it from they can tell you that. I think that you can just have the sensors added to the new rims.

I called the dealer it is $15 a wheel. Cause they have to balance them again before they go back on the car. Not to bad I thought that it was gonna be alot more.

'05-'06 have rotational-speed based Tire pressure monitors. They don't work very well. Mine only told me my pressure was low when I was at like 18PSI on a tire instead of the normal 32.
'07+ tCs have valve-stem based TPMS. This actually monitors the pressure of the tires. Most new cars have this now.
