First of all, I don't own a Scion. I am the Scion manager/sales/finance/whatever else at Kay Jennings, Springfield Scion in Virginia. I found out about this site from the Northern VA Scikotics rep. I'll mostly be posting in the NOVA forum, but I'll haunt the others from time to time as well. I'll be glad to answer questions for anybody and you'll find that I NEVER try to direct sales to myself. My goal is to help people buying Scions and that's it.
Now, about my ride... its a 2007 Tundra with a number of unusual mods. I might be the biggest geek on this forum and I am into ham radio. My truck is set up with 2 different radios, an aux battery and a lot of wiring and antennas. With this, I can talk directly to any part of the world, without the use of satellites, phone or cell towers. Its direct point to point radio communication using the ionosphere to propogate the radio waves.
Why bring this up? Well, I'm actually pretty good at pulling crap apart on Toyota products and have figured out how to hide wires and such. I'm not an expert at radio installs, but I might be able to help. Here's the pics.
