Still working on xB front vertical grille LED inserts

Just a simple prototype so far. Its gonna be million color, and also be able to "scan" up and down.

Solid white for street driving, orange for turn signals, and then crazy disco mode for hanging out at car shows.

Thinking to sell for about $200 for the set.

maybe you can put led on the half of the insert (horizontal) so when when we put CAI the air can pass through the half of the insert and if the price can be a lower than $200

i agree 200 is a bit much but if you throw in a grill kit. i am sure the price to make the grill strips wont be much and wont be much labor to you.
but it'd be a better deal for a 4 piece. 2 that can do all what you said. then all 4 the disco style at shows.

If you did that, $250 - $300 would be a steal for a 4 piece set and you would probably sell more of them.

I can use these for my rear bumper since I have those kind of inserts in my rear bumper now, not the front bumper since I now that I have a body kit they bad the vents smaller in the front.

I like the idea. To be honest id buy an LED setup like this just with white lights in a heartbeat. The scanning function is cool and all, but really I just want more what light coming form the front.

I was so going to do the same thing with those vents myself, but if you can do it for me for fairly cheap then im game, i was thinking blue or mabey a whitesh blue to match a set of HIDs. let us know when you know more.

lol shit i'll start producing these myself...... i'm about to do this to my scion. its going to caust 10$ in parts....... sooooooo. why hasnt this guy done it yet?

drill some holes in the plastic. fit some led holders in with some RTV or silicone to seal it to be water proof. proper resistors if any.... VOLLA pop them back in after tapping into the amber's power sorce and ground the system to the chassy.......

Well you could still do it, you'd just have to get rid of the cool TRD vent. Wouldn't make much difference.

what wouldent make much differance? gettin rid of the vent? thats where the "cold air" comes in.....i dont get it.

True it allows air directly in there, but I really doubt you'd notice any performance change having that vent or not. There's also a big hole to the side of the radiator that air can get into, I can see the filter of my AEM intake through there. And the TRD unit, using an airbox, limits how much air is hitting anyways by just having the opening in the back.

That vent is badass, but I don't think it would make a difference not having it if you wanted the LED grill thing.

Unfortunately they only have that for the drivers side, so you'd have to be creative if you wanted the passenger side to match.
