is it bad to shift the auto like a stick...yeah yeah i know get a stick shift if you want to shift , however i got dealt a shitty hand sooo, is it bad? and if it is what are the risks? what goes wrong when? and how do i know if shit hit the fan from effing the transmission up doing it? i know its bad, but i want to know if the tc can take the damage if any.

If you keep doing that you will kill the transmission. You're adding a lot of unnecessary wear onto it.
Why even bother? You won't accelerate any faster. I've tried it on the 1/4 mile track.

The only reason you should be manually shifting is when going up or down hills and need to keep the engine in a certain RPM range.

youll feel the car running ruffer... youll feel the car jerk a bit more when you shift... Not only is it bad on the tranny bad on the mounts puts more stress on em... and gets the tranny alot hotter...
Change your fluid regularly... and check for shaving or a off color!

the tc's cpu adjusts to the way you drive so the shifting a higher rpm's cant be it cuz my auto shifts at ...a littel over 6,000 just a little tho. i think i will stop doing it considering the vvt-i engine takes care of the shifting pretty well in the autos..... any more suggestions?

That's in a hon-duh.
I did it when my tC was still N/A... at the track. Same exact 1/4 mile time. Not worth the trouble. My ECU knows when my pedal's on the floor... Shifts at 6500 just fine.
