#5 xB INSIDE Cabin filter (return air)
This mod is great for cutting down the inside dust. Note This should be used in addition to the FRESH AIR filter. This is to filter when you are in the recirculate setting. We should have a how too on a home made outside air filter soon.
Pick up a few of these:

And you need two pan straps:

They are house register filters 4 x 8 fit the best. Home depot, or Walmart should have them. I found a handful in the clearance section. :up:
First remove your glove box to expose the return inlet.

The black sections is where the air returns when in the recirculation setting.
Next is remove the tab from the filter.

This is so it won't fall in your house duct work, and it gets in the way.

Now make two small holes in the filter on the ends, in the middle. This is to fit the pan straps through to hold it in place.

Now your ready to install the filter. Put a strap through a rib on the return box, and bring it through the filter.

Be sure to pass both sides through a rib on the filter to keep it from tearing the element. (I said element, lol) Now the other side.

Tighten them up, and cut the ends off.
