#4 Wheel well undercoating (all Scions)
This mod can be messy, but surprisingly very easy to do, and
inexpensive. It will quiet down your road noise, and it looks great.
Very easy to clean before shows with tire cleaner. My favorite mini mod
to date.

All you need is about 1 can per wheel well. I picked up 6 because I
didn't want to be short on goods, with my ride on jacks, and me a mess.
I used the left overs to cover the rear section under the spare tire, so
no can went to waste.
Its best to get your Scion in the air on four jacks with the wheels off
in a well ventilated area. but one at a time works if all you have is
one or two jack stands.
First, give your Scion a bath first and spray out them wheel wells real good with water
Now I tape off my brake lines and my inner plastic wheel well sections.
I also run a long section of tape on the painted fender lip areas.

Now this stuff comes out of the can kinda chunky and all over the place.
And if your not in a well ventilated area, you will get a head ache.
Don't ask me how I know. :lalala:
Not a whole lot of pics on this mod. I was to messy to be grabbing the
camera.
Clean the area to be sprayed with a dry rag if its still dirty or wet.
Now have at it with the junk.
I find the inner plastic wheel well can be manipulated out of the way very easy to shoot a little behind it.
A great time to do this mod is when you install your lowering springs. You can get a good coat behind the strut & spring when its out

But it can be done with just the wheels off and masking tape.
Oh and keep a few clean rags handy. the stuff comes off easy right away, later is another story.
