they were offering me discounts, but the way I'm gluing isn't working right with the heat and humidity we get up here. Have to figure out how to handle this.

Hey discount or partial sponsorship is better than nothing.. What are you using as glue??

A loctite version glue... grade 2

Did you try some kind of plastic glue?? Since you are gluing onto the plastics of the interior maybe that will work...

What about double sided tape??? Or even velcro??? Neither of those are perminant!!
