Those chemicals cleaners and such are really hard on the finish of any wheels and made for lazy people LOL..

Elbow Grease!

Everyone is exactly right with Soap and Water. A lot of those cleaners use harsh chemicals and acids that will wear down on the finish of the wheels.

The amount of effort you put into it determines the quality of results you get out of it.

Never thought of Rain-X... I guess that won't do anything to the finish?

I saw this stuff sitting on the shelf at Wal-Mart

Looks good in the video... anyone ever tried it?

If you dont have access to soap n water, like at show. Spray your cleaner on a towell first.

I just use carwash soap and hose water with a towel.

soap and water, a couple coats of carnauba wax and some quick detailer to keep them looking pretty

The Armorall stuff works pretty well but I always just use carwash soap/water. It doesn't cost as much and gets the job done.

Dawn dish detergent and warm water. It breaks down the dust and road grime really well, and its safe on most wheel finishes except chrome. I've seen it scuff chrome dishes on rims, like haze.
