I'll have to get Kid Morbid over here. He got their CAI and strut bar. He wasn't happy with the finish on the strut bar so he painted it

I think his was the "polished". It was pretty rough.

04-07-2010, 10:40 PM
I ordered it and the finish was like just a brushed aluminem. Basically like an unpolished version of the cai. I wanted to paint it though since it wasn't like a chrome surface. Here is a pic.

It's a pretty great bar though. You can't beat the price at all, and I have noticed a difference in my handling big time. I'm all stock suspension wise till my raceland coils are on and sway bar and I have less body roll. Definitely helps.

Yeah, I've never heard anything bad about anything of theirs. I might even consider the header and mid-pipe combo.

I've heard the header and midpipe are really raspy. the exhaust I have heard sounds good though. I'll be getting the exhaust this summer.

look for them on ebay they are a lil higher on there but the shipping is free, so it more than makes up the difference. I was thinking about ordering the exhaust and cai and it was gonna be like $40 cheaper from their ebay store.

Most any header is raspy.

Just got mine installed tonight! only took about 30 minutes. only needed to jack up the driver side to get the rear nut off the bolt. loosened, jacked, put on, lowered and re-bolted. Looks great! can't wait to put it to the test on the on/off ramps on the interstate!

I'm planning on getting this fo sho! A strut bar is a strut bar. I don't imagine they can differ enough to make much difference. I probably wouldn't get the intake and headers though simply because I haven't heard anything about them proving their power increases. I want the most power I can get N/A until I can afford a turbo setup.

I ordered mine on Monday night. I got the polished aluminum and I'm going to paint it green. Gotta clean everything under the hood soon too.

I'll post up a picture tonight when I get home. The silver raceland tag looks like its going to fall off, so I may just pull it off, but its a well built bar, and I can tell a difference in handling just from that

04-14-2010, 07:00 PM
I'm gonna go with this raceland one. Not gonna spend a ton of money on the CAI when I've heard good things about them and I know I'm not going to get huge gains out of it, just something little with a good noise
DeadCannon
04-14-2010, 07:03 PM
Yup. Injen made the most gains, along side Fujita (cause they were the exact same), but it was still only like 7-9. Most intakes make about that much.

got mines installed today only took me 15min. didn't use a jack but i just bent that little metal piece back and took off the rear nut. yeah i really feel the differences in sharp turns lol.

I ordered mine last night (3AM) and I got an email saying it had shipped by Noon. That's some nice turn around time! Ima paint it black to match my new Injen CAI I think. Next up some Raceland Coilovers probably in the next month or two!

It's awesome you can get all of those parts though for under a grand.. When most of the time the coilover kit itself is that..
Got my coilover kit in today. Installing this week. Can't wait :D So far I'm loving my raceland products.

Hey guys...just installed my strut tower bar from raceland as well as the cold air intake they have. I also bought the header from there but havent installed it yet. But yeah the strut is really easy to install and fits perfect. The cold air intake, if you guys are interested, sounds awesome and really isnt too hard to install. Here are some pictures of my new engine bay and the intake and here is a video of the intake just incase you guys wanna see what it sounds and looks like installed. Enjoy!

Stock exhaust. I have been meaning to get an exhaust but haven't found one that I like (sound-wise). So what you hear on the video is just the intake

Injen to HKS for the win.

All intakes are essentially the same, its mostly the filter element that changes the gains
