So, I moved this week into a new neighborhood that has a lot of kids. I'm suprised at the warm reception they have for the xB. In 2 days, I've had 4 groups of kids make comments on my car, from "What up, Homie G" to "Nice Car". These are kids around the age of 8 - 15. Just weird and unexpected. My old neighborhood had mostly old folks that looked at me like "WTF" when I drove by. Just thought this was pretty funny. Others have the same reaction with their xB?

i have kids looking & pointing at my xB all the time. even more so since i moved to a smaller town.
I always have kids staring at my box, teenagers walking down the road yell "I like your car!", even the little kids 4-6 in the walmart parking lot seem to be fascinated by it as they point it out to their mommies...funny as hell.
My fiance and I met with our priest (he's about 80)last night and when he walked us out he commented on how much he liked my car. Took me 5 mins to explain what a Scion was....maybe I can get him to bless it..LOL

i get that also with my rs4 and when the little ones point at it and i see them i push in the clutch and give it some gas. they hear the nice deep growl and they smile, some times it is nice with the little kids, but the older ones i think are going to rip off my shit

I have had a couple kids in their early teens say they never liked the xB but after looking at mine they do.

We get it all the time :kid: That's why I think the first generation xB's value will go up. Like young kids in the 50's wanted the Chevy's, the ones today dig the box.
I had a kid. about 8, point at my box as I was parking it ask his mom if he could go look at it better. They were about 5 spots away in the *love section.
After a wow or two he was like "That's cool "
Supply is dropping with the short production, and owners who just drive them into the ground. So we'll see.
*(love section) Websters defines it as the far away parking area located a distance away from shopping carts, and careless door opening unsexually satisfied house wifes in large SUV's, and old people in large Buick's.

Little kids know whats up. Older folks are "sometimes set in there ways".
I get looks all the time in my small town, even at daycare when i pick up my daughter all the kids think it's cool.

Even more attention when you have vertical doors. It's like I pull up to a gas station or what not, get out, look around and everyone's looking at you like they saw a U.F.O. or something(especially at night with the lights). Then they usually say"what is that?" & "did you buy that like that?" Funny shit, but you usually know what they are going to say before they do by their expression.

Werd! It's all about the love section. I am such a :censored: when it comes to my box. :-D
I was :md: this kitten who had two young daughters and I drove kitten one time to pick them up from school. They were mezmerized on the drive back to their house. The next time I came by to see kitten, her daughters were all excited to see me and said, "you're the one with the COOL car!". I was like, yeah that's right.

We get it too with kids starting around 4 and going on up to adults!
The young kids stare at it like it's hypnotizing* them. I watched one 4-5 year old run into a shopping cart from looking so hard at it! Many will say things like "cool car", "that's neat" and "wow, what is that?"
They simply love them. xB:loveit:
