Hi,
For my wifes 06 Xb, I would like to make a custom setup of audio and video. But I am not a car audio/video guy. I always kept it simple with in dash receiver and upgrade speakers, nothing special. I took more time to upgrade the power of my cars rather then the sound/video systems.
This is what I am planning on running so far the Pioneer AVIC-D3 DVD navigation receiver, 7" headrest dvd screens, bluetooth adapter, 2 x 10" subs at dual 4 ohms (not sure on brand yet, recommendations welcome), Alpine MRP-M650 amp for the subs, polk MMC6500 up front and polk MMC5250 in the back, powered by an Alpine MRP-F450 amp.
So what else would you recommend and why should I use it (what is it for) like capacitors, cross overs, equalizer,...
What would be better, to run the subs parallel total 1 ohm or drivers in series with parallel connection with the amp for total of 4 ohms? This will make the choice of amp better.
I appreciate the input. Any advice is welcome.
Sincerely,
Sven
