You might want to read into this one a little more. The o2 sensors both bank 1 and 2 are in line before and after your CAT. What's the code? Most of the time, it's not the CAT but one of you o2 sensors.
However, if it is your CAT, you might as well find a decent header for sale and install. Problem solved except the CEL you'll throw in in Bank 1 Sensor 2 which is an easy fix.
Important thing is to find out the exact code and google it. You will find many tech articles which will point you in the right direction. Better off finding out what others said and not just swapping parts on a whim. Sensors are tricky and picky. A drop of water can destroy them.
Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

I haven't read much on ur problem cuz I'm on my phone but I beleave that you installed new headers or something similer, I had that code once and never again, this is what I did, first u need to go to an autoparts store and get ur self 2 pack of spark plug foilers, u will need to drill one of the with a 1/2 inch drillbit this is the one that will go on the O2 sensor the second don't drill it first try using 2 foilers if the lite comes back on use 3 and trust me u will never see the light come back on for that problem again.
Good luck,

Nice. It's a very expensive process and I'd recommend paying more for a very good kit. It will save you $$$ on install time. Kit's generaly bolt on properly while custom built needs cut, welded, and fabricated. Ugh...
Any way. Check out this link. It has more info about this code, some troubleshooting, and overall fixes.

I was going to recomend this too, but I don't think it's the problem here. But great point. Before you go buy an O2 sensor you should try this trick. To clarify, it is to be done to sensor 2 (this is the one in your down pipe). I had to do this too. It basically just pulls your sensor away from the pipe and doesn't allow it to heat to the proper temp thus not allowing it to trip the code. This will fix your problem whether you replaced the cat or not. ;) save $$$.
Part # for the fouler is: 42002 or 42009
I used the 42002.

Before replacing the O2 sensor you should have gone get some opinions first because most likely it is not your O2 sensor, it could be either a harness problem, I would just check and make sure all both O2 sensors are properly installed and connected before jumping to conclusions, also check for any exhaust leaks, that could cause the light to come on. but this is only if you are throwing a the OBD code, if you aren't then it may be something else.
