OK guys, I know that this is times from now, however this show is pretty badass and im just trying to see who is going to make it, maybe we can work something out where all the Scikotics are parked together, maybe try to get the club participation award. The show is in Dallas, TX at the market center on 10/7/06 which is near downtown, the registration is 55.00 and it includes 2 tickets. Roll in is on Friday(highly advised) and saturday.

if maybe we can decide on who is going to go then we can decide when we want to roll in. I say that on friday is better becuase on saturday EVERYBODY is rolling in and it gets really nuts, i mean on friday is pretty nuts, but on saturday is REALLY NUTS.

Another piece of info for those going and want to be ready. is a night show(duh!) however you CANNOT run the engine on the car and the battery HAS TO BE disconnected since is an indoor show and is against fire codes, so with that said, for those who would like to show off the lights, you will have to get a converter, and then rent the electricity from them, not sure on the cost, but i know it aint that cheap. So if you want to run the tv's, system, lights, etc, you HAVE to rent the electricity.

So whos down. i know i am.. for sho..

Forgot to add you must ONLY HAVE 1/4 of gas in the tank or else your ass aint getting in, they are pretty strict about that. I seen people sit in the parking lot runing the car at like 5K RPM just to burn gas, ask trophywhore, he did last year. LOL.

Ok, I'm calling HIN Monday to see about discounted club pricing per Jacob in the San Antonio chapter. He said they are bringing around 13 scikotics and we have 8 on this rollcall.

Is there anybody else that thinks they will be entering? The more confirmed entries I can tell them the better chance I have of getting discounts.

Another thing to figure out would be, when are we all rolling in, there is a roll in on Sat morning and Fri night, last year i went on fri night.

Always, always, always .. roll in as early as possible. That will give you the best parking. The later you wait the greater the chance that you get broken up. The floor plan fills really quick with HIN and they always book to capasity. So for the sake of parking together and being judged fairly I would roll in as early as possible.

That Hotel is 30-40 miles away from the place where HIN is at. Need to do a search around Irving and East Dallas to get closer. I know the ones right by the show are high dollar places.

Well the problem is that there is really nothing empty around that area(none that comes to mind at least), the only place that comes to mind is the Medieval Times off Oak Lawn, but thats passing the Market Center.

The Homedepot is on one of the backstreets, the Market Center is right off the highway, i think that we should keep the meeting spot off the highway to make it easier, plus the streets back there are NOT the friendliest ones.

Yes you need to buy the converter in order to run your electric stuff, also please make sure that you only have 1/4 of a tank, meaning if you filled up this past weekend, depending on the drive, you should not fill up anymore this week, they will NOT let you enter if your car as more than 1/4 tank.

As far as showing up, we are trying to have all the Scikotics park together, so thats why we are wanting to meet up.

Guys this is not like other shows that we have attended before, we dont roll straight into the show, we can get there, park, shoot the shit, wait for peeps, then roll in, so we can use their parking lot to meet up and get all the troops together..

The content below contains crucial information regarding your roll-in and set-up.

Check-In/Load-In will be begin at 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday October 6th, 2006. Look for signs that will direct you to the staging area. While in line you will be classified. After classification you will be given a modification sheet, two wristbands (event passes), and regulations for the event. The classification sheet will be used by the judges when they mark their score sheets as well as spot your vehicle in the show. Your classification sheet must be clearly displayed on the driver-side window at all times during move-in and show hours.

NO SATURDAY ROLL-IN!!!

***If show vehicles arrive on Saturday a $20 PENALTY fee will be applied and due on-site, CASH ONLY!!! Vehicles MUST coordinate with our automotive director @ tphan@visionevent.com in advance to setup Saturday roll-in so that we may better assist you on best possible solution.
Regulations

· Placement will be given on a first come first serve basis unless otherwise coordinated in advance with management. What this means is that you should get to the venue early. If a member of your crew arrives late, does not caravan with you, and is not in line with you at the time of roll-in, they will not be placed with you (NO EXCEPTIONS).

· The vehicle must be clean and free of body damage. Project cars and prototypes must be in a completed state.

· NO support vehicles are allowed inside the venue, you must walk/carry your equipment inside the venue.

· When you check-in you will be given two wristbands, one for yourself and one for whoever is going to bring you back the next day.

· FUEL REGULATIONS FOR THIS EVENT is between 1/4 tank to empty. You will not be allowed inside the venue if you have more then 1/4 tank of gas.

· Cars will be REQUIRED to disconnect batteries once parked on the show floor. The show will not start until all batteries have been disconnected.

· Tear-Down – Once all spectators have exited the building, roll-out can commence.

Im soo awesome, OK for HIN, think Boat... you know how most boats have 2 batteries a deep cycle battery and a regular battery, then they have a switch to choose a or b and a and b.. Well How bout tap in to the battery +, then run this switch, and then run a deep cycle battery hidden somewhere in the car.. god im soo smart
