What's the deal?

I have a 05 tc when I bought the car I ended up having fog passenger headlight it was replaced under warranty then about 25k miles goes by n boom fogged over agian. So I went for an upgrade to the 08 projectors. Got them on eBay installed them the other day. Well guess what booooom fogged agian!! What's the deal with scion n there shitty headlights not sealing?

You know you can seal them yourself with silicone?

Yea I do it just the fact of pulling them back off n hopein there's no water spits n stuff is there a diy to do this. What r the steps? Do I needa bake them too?

I know this tread is kinda old now. I had a thought a though reading over this, is it possible that one of rubber washers on the bulbs is worn out or missing? That would certainly explain the poor sealing of the headlight. It's kinda a obvious thing to check, but that is what we all most often overlook.

That's so bizarre, poor quality control on what ever assembly line is handling the light housings I guess.
