Whats the easiest way to do touchups? should i go to the scion body shop or is there a way to do it myself.
These friends of mine were playing around my car and one decided to put the other on top of my hood. And of course the one on the car had a chain on his pants and scraaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttcccccchhhhhhh. Of course now there are like 8 or 9 scratches on top of my driver side's front panel where the wheels are. and i'm been trying to get it fixed up. Scion said there is a guy that comes to the dealership to do touchups and i've been trying to run into him but haven't found him out there yet.
Of course the scratches are white. So i don't know what to do.

If they are down to the metal, you'd have to touchup paint them until you build the level up to the same or higher than the surrounding paint, then you have to lightly sand the area to smooth the surfaces out. You follow this with rubbing compound and then buff. If you don't feel 100% comfortable with this, I'd suggest having a professional look at it.

Oh, BTW, I'd get new friends if they did something like that.

oh, they are going to pay for whatever it costs to do it. No doubt about that. Thanks for the info though. Guess i'm going to see if any of the scion dealerships happen to have people that could look at it for an estimate then.

So can you feel it with your fingernail. That is a good way of telling if paint work is necessary.

Fingernail can feel it. paint it
If not - Then you got a shot with a little buffing and/or sanding. Ask you dealer to give the number for the paint guy to you instead of trying to run into him
