Hey I"m looking around to get a strut bar, I would like to get front and rear but for now i'm probably just going to get a front one. my question is are they easy to install? I'm either thinkin they are pretty much bolt on but on the other hand they bolt to that area(This is where my dumbness comes in cause I'm not too sure what it is they connect to I think its something with the suspension and thats why they are good. . . . ?) If you bolt it on them wont it screw stuff up and you will have to adjust alot of things? I'm not going to get some stupid brand i'm going to get a TRD one they have some on ebay between 100 and 150. should I get it professionaly installed or do it myself. I installed a cold air intake myself just fine but that really was just bold on. any suggestions will help
Thanks Sciko'z

If you installed a CAI the strut bar shouldn't be a problem. Here is a little DIY explaining what is involved.

I just checked and TRD SPARKS in Mrytle Beach, SC still has the
TRD front strut bar listed for $97.50 with $10-15 for shipping.
TRD rear sway bar is listed for $99.00 with $20? for shipping.
Shipping? yeah UPS, but the boxes might be oversize?
These bars are basically bolt on.........

Thanks Sciko'z i installed the tannabe front strut tie brace for my '09 xb and i had no problem installing it. the TRD front strut tie brace say's you have to remove the wipers, the plastic pannel under them and the wiper mechanisim and motor.i just loosened the strut nuts and raised the tires off the ground and droped the struts so i had about 1/2" of threds above the strut housing and had enough room to install the tannabe brace. then i lowered the car and put weight back on the tires, but put the nuts back on and thredded them flush to the top of the studs first, with the weight back on the tires i fully tightened the nuts back down and didn't have to go through all the dissassembly the TRD strut tie brace required. i'm disabled and it was a easy install for me. the tannabe brace is adjustable so withe weight back on the tires i adjusted it tight to make the front strut assembly more ridgid and it made a world of diffrence in the handling. i also added the tannabe df-210 lowering springs and the new type TRD rear sway bar. the car sits level and dropped 1.7" in front and 2.0" in the rear. the car handles like its on raills on twisty roads and is only slightly stiffer than stock, but it's what should have been done by the factory. i also added MB Boost wheels in 16"x7". you caan see the results by going to my profile and check out all the mods. good luck, oldvet53
