I've got a set of Hotchkis Sport Springs that I'm planning on putting on my car this weekend. I've seen alot of people say to install a camber kit with their springs.

My tC has TRD Springs/Struts/Sways(putting hotchkis on it to drop it a little more)

Do I need a camber kit?
What will happen if I don't install a camber kit?

You dont need a camber kit.... Your tires will wear a bit faster....

i have hotchkis and i plan on gettin camber kit...really dont need it...im runnin on nitto neogen tires which were made for lowered cars so it isnt so bad...the neogens last pretty long..and it will last a lil longer with a camber kit...but after lookin at my car...the slanted wheels look kinda cool

Thanks for the advise folks... I'll probably put the springs on and then the camber kit shortly after... I can't imagine the camber being that off that it would hurt anything since its already lowered with TRD springs.

camber kit does what it says... camber kit.... adjust camber... take away the - degrees that aftermarket low springs give you...

You know your wheels look like this from the rear

I have the hotchkis springs and got an allignment after about 3 weeks. a good shop should be able to get it into spec with adjustability on the car without buying the camber links. They are meant so you can give more camber for auto-x and then dial them back out for even wear street driving.

so basically as long as you get a camber kit...or an alignment your tires wont be pointed inwards like that and you will get even wear on your tires right?

If you get a camber kit you should get an alignment....

Yes, but you will be able to get them straighter with the camber kit and allignment then with an allignment.
And like keith said, you will still need an allignment even with the camber kit.

Hotchkis makes camber kits (I think there is one other company as well) but you can use them with any springs.
