Whats the easiest way to paint the brake caliper a different color?

The easiest and cheapest way is high-heat ceramic spray paint, which is what I've used in the past.
A lot of people like the duplicolor brush-on kit, but it's a little more labor intensive IMO.
If you do the spray paint, just mask off most of the rotor, and everything behind it. You don't have to take the caliper off, and if you get paint on the surface of the rotor, it's not going to stay there very long lol. Brake pads will strip that shit off ASAP.
The spray paint approach is $6/can and you can do all 4 calipers with one can. The brush-on kit is $16 for all 4 calipers...the brush-on kit offers more complete, even coverage, and might last longer (my spray-on lasted forever! and it cleaned up super easy when the brakes got dusty), but it's all personal preference as to what you feel like doing.

Duplicolor caliper kit. $16 at any auto store. Comes with almost everything you need. No need to really tape or mask off anything. Just take the wheel off (with the car jacked up of course), spray the cleaner, scrub it with an old toothbrush (not included) to loosen up the dust that's stuck, repeat a couple times, then paint away.
There's enough paint to do all 4 calipers with multiple coats.... on like 5 cars. They give you a LOT of paint.
End Result:

Well, if you use a high heat ceramic coat primer first, then you should be able to paint the oem color.

use the high-heat ceramic in the gray color as a primer.
Allow it to fully cure according to the instructions, then you can use Scion touch-up paint in an airbrush or paint gun.

Check out the DIY section. You can get to it by clicking the DIY link at the top of the page. I wrote up a How-To for painting your calipers.

It looks like you sprayed the pad itself and your rotor....
With spray you have to tape and mask off everything really well.

looking at the pic it looks like they only got part of the rotor that the pad wears off. and the pad gets changed eventually too. lol so it will eventually look good.

Would it be better to spray or use the paintbrush technique?

why can't the discs on the big brake kit be the same all around. I mean, the rear the same size disc and caliper as the front?

Black Cherry is tough. Might want to go with silver or black... who knows. your preference.
Aurora - making the rear brakes the same size as the front is really pointless. The braking force is mostly in the front - because most of the weight is mostly in the front of the car. I know EddNog did this on his car but it really didn't do much.

IMO the G2 caliper kit is the way to go =)
everybody that uses it is happy with it from what ive read
and it hold up better than the duplicolor one.
a buddy of mine painted has used both G2 and duplicolor and she actually repainted the ones with the duplicolor. But she was saying when she had her other car with the g2 it would hold on real well in the alaska winters

I don't mind having to touch mine up. I take my wheels off all the time to rotate them.

I used dupicolor kit and it was easy and worked great! The "caliper cleaner" that comes with it could strip the black off asphalt though!! lol. jk. watch out for that stuff.

three bolts on each side they are small but they hold your suspension together and they are a bitch.
took a buddy of mine like 5 hours to drop a tc, but with the right tools and a helping hand me and my buddy knocked it out in an hour and a half ans we were bullshitting the whole time.;)
