I got my hitch from HitchSource.com http://www.hitchsource.com/classitrailerhitch-p-27383.html which is a 200lb tongue wt hitch with a max capacity of 2000lbs (not that I would ever tow that much)... I use mine mainly for my bicycle rack (4 bike Yakima; the thought of sticking a roof rack or truck rack on a glass roofed car does not appeal to me) , however it is set up for a trailer if need be (LoadRite makes a three rail motorcycle trailer that weighs 250lbs). The wiring harness for the trailer lights was gotten from JCWhitney ( they have a generic Toyota four pin hook).

I remember when my step-dad would tow our three person jet ski with his honda civic. People would be crackin' up when we lowered it into the lake... haha... Good times...

Most Hondas have a 140lb tongue limit, which is super dumb because it's not easy finding a trailer with that small of a tongue that can tow anything decent.
If I'm not mistaken, UHAUL can install them and I'm pretty sure they'll do the harness work too...dunno what they charge though.
Looking at my tC, that fucker is gonna be sitting pretty low to clear the bottom of the bumper...but obviously it works according to Louise. Go for it.

ewh, that's sad ... at least mine is not painfully obvious (not my tC but I do have this hitch.)http://www.hitchsource.com/images/DA_scionxA_back.jpg http://www.hitchsource.com/images/DA_scionxA_back2.jpg

This post has given me an idea! I think I will build myself a trailer to tow my Harley where the rear wheel rests on the ground. If I lock it's throttle on, this should give my tC an added HP boost.
