Hello Everyone.

I got the 08 xD and I am very excited about it. I don't know much about cars but I think this one is going to change things a bit. My question is how do I get together with other scion owners in NYC? Thanks.

In NYC its still a work in progress. I know guys get together there once in a while. But most of the hang outs are in surrounding areas - Secaucus (Sept 8th) or In Rockland county.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. The first thing that strikes me about this forum is how invited I feel. Thanks again.

I come to the forum with two handicaps and one big advantage. I don't know much about cars and I'm unfamiliar but fascinated with the Scion culture. The big advantage is that I'm enthusiastic about being a new owner. I plan on becomeing more familiar with the web site and learning how to navigate around so I can get the most from it. I guess I should start by saying what I have!

The car is actually going to be here next week but I'm filled with anticipation. Plenty of parking where I am in Brooklyn and I would love to take some trips to nearby Bear Mnt. for example. Or the Berkshires for the more adventurous.
