so the last few days ive spent in my garage repainting my steelies all was going well till the locking lug nut on the back tire snapped got that taken care of but then trying to get the locking lug off the other wheel the adapter lock snapped (i think the tire place put them on too tight when i got new rubber) all in all i bought 4 new lugs so i dont have to deal with the locking ones ever again but im wondering how to get the locking nuts off that r on there now can a napa get them off for me?

I would think that anyone who has access to an air gun could remove them for You!:icon_yes:

TJ, is the issue that you do not have the key to unlock them first, or just that they are on too tight? I have impact tools, you would be more than welcome to stop by and we could spin them off for you quick. 612-819-8701

Theres a tool to remove locking lugs, but youll need an impact. I removed a friends 4 locking lugs that he lost the key to in about 10 min :) Its really a genius tool - uses a left hand thread so basically as you run the impact in reverse to remove the lug the tool threads onto the outside of the locking lug. They have these at O'Reilley's for sure but dont know about the others stores.
