All right need some help, I started pulling panels on the xb2 so that my painter could start playing around but my problem is I took the back seat out and I kinda like it...thinking about fiberglassing it all up like the kicker one for CES. Anybody out there done this...I still drive mine almost daily, none of my cars will ever be a trailer queen lol anyone see a down side to this. I considered choping the seats among other things...is this a good idea

IDK what im thinking help me out

oh team soundstream... wheres harvey? :sigh: lol

why are you pulling the rear seat? is a stereo going in there? im confused. your asking for our opinion on what? i say leave the seat... but if you want to build a stereo car then yank it. if your just wanting weight reduction then leave it... whats the objective?

to get the C pillars out of the xB2 you have to take the rear seat out first. FOR ONE STINKIN BOLT!! :threat: Scion....

i wasnt asking why he pulled the seat, i saw it was for paint work, i was asking why hes considering leaving it out.

Sry should have made it more clear...I'm considering leaving out the back seat to fiberglass a sub box/amp rack for 6 15's just wondering if anybody has done that outside of a full show car never driven vehicle and beside the obvious disadvantage to not hauling anyone would it be a smart move on my part or should I just keep it behind the rear seats like I have now. I don't typically have more than one passanger so I don't think it would be a big deal.

I didnt have to take the rear seats out to get my c pillars out. :-)

Oh... :hiding:

John.. you took out the top C pillar without taking the bottom out first?? scary. the top piece sits behind the bottom piece.. mine are out right now for paint as well. I took EVERYTHING OUT... if the B is gonna be more for show then DOOO EEETTT.. but if it's for go?? don't.
