You'll probably have to pick. Either you'll have to lose the CAB, or you'll have your gauges. BTW: Unless you absolutely have to have it, don't bother with the gauge pillar. Just grab an oil cooler, and some "purple ice", and drive to your hearts content.

Well I already purchased a pillar and 3 gauges. I figured it wouldn't be an issue taking the curtain airbog out considering I have one on my seat and one on the wheel. I think I can get away witb missing one. That's why I'm asking what do I do. I really want to put these on but don't want to blow off my face in the process.

well, the first thing you want to do is take the batter out. the second thing you'll want to do is fully discharge yourself of static electricity.

I think the a-pillar is hard enough to see around already. Up to you though. As far af removing the airbag, I've seen someone talking about swapping steering wheels and they said to blow the bag. Sounds risky to me though.

The airbags aren't in the pillar. The bags themselves are in the headliner. There is a airbag restraining "cable" that runs a little ways down the A-pillar to make sure the bag discharges downward instead of into your head in the event of an accident, but that just pushes the pillar out a bit. As long as you don't use screws to secure the pillar pod, you'll be fine.

^^ Hes right.. Dont remove the pillar, just snap the gauges on over the pillar.. It opens outward from the inside, towards the windshield.. The gauges will just break against the windshield if it goes off.. But I dont think youll be worried about that then..

Im not saying you cant.. Im just saying that if you change them out, your running a risk of the airbag not working correctly when you need it.. I dont know if you bought a replacement or a cover.. But I wouldnt recomend removing the oem cover if you dont have to.. You wont see it anyways after you cover it...
