So recently I got a job at a place that allows me to get any car part I want for my car at COST. Meaning cheap as hell.

I want to get an exhaust for my stock tC next paycheck, and am having some trouble deciding for sure.. I think I want Borla, because I like the deeper throatier sound of it. I've heard of them having problems though.. I really need my car to be reliable as it has to last me 6-10 years.. Not much can happen from exhaust though, right? Its a new 07 btw.

Borla catback yay or nay?

I'll sell you my TRD axleback for well below cost - $275 shipped is what I'm asking.

I got boost so I need a flippin catback.

What kind of problems did you hear about. really can't be anything of significance, it's just an exhaust system. Is Borla Cat-back, I thought it was axle back.

I have a Skunk2 Mega Power turbo tuned exaust. I have had no problems with it. Has a great race car sound and is pretty powerful

It's all about making the burnt fuel ejecting out of the car as hot as possible. With a turbo application such as you and I have the exhaust can develop cold pockets in a pipe that is too wide and can burst breaking your exhaust. Simply take it to a dyno and tune place. It's all about balance and saftey.

FYI - Borla is axelback, not catback.

Just go to a muffler shop and get a custom exhaust....... get more exhaust work done for cheaper!

I like Borla's exhaust tone. Even with an aftermarket header it still sounds great! I'm swapping my current exhaust for Borla's in the near future.. My current setup's just way too loud :(
