Just got new tires and didn't put in the TPMS...
Now all I have is a stupid {!} permanently on my gauge cluster. How can I disable it?
Easiest thing is to pull the gauge cluster and unsolder the LED for the indicator. There is no conventional override that I know of...

The TPMS Sensor as far as I know is "required" by law on any vehicle made after like 2008. When I bought my new wheels I went ahead and had a shop take the sensors out of my stocks and throw them on the new ones. I figured I'd have those on majority of the year and my stocks only on for 2-3 months. I've dealt with the light so far, got use to it.
Like Kary said though there is no way to turn it off less it detects the sensors, or you unsolder the led.

I just got used to mine, although sometimes it doesn't even turn on.. until it get up too highway speed. Just stick some electrical tape over the {!} :)
