Either Tokico Blue's or the TRD. Both seem pretty popular.

LOL because they are like the only two options out there other than I think Koni if they even still make one for our application. Lean more towards the tokico blues, but remember to that they have shorter housing which means it will be lower on those than the oem shocks. Depending on how much mileage you have on the car and how you drive, your stock shocks should last for a while. I installed my springs at 20k and am now at about 46k with no problems. Keep in mind the trd struts were designed around the trd springs. Yeah you could use them, but it may not be the most cost effective scenario

shocks go in the front and struts go in the rear

Shocks use springs as a seperate component
Struts have springs built in and are considered to be one unit

Use the stock struts.. Theres nothing special about aftermarket struts, unless you get adjustable coilovers, if your just going for the look.. Performance is a different story, but I assume you dont race your tC.. If you want some thing cheap but reliable, theres always Raceland Coilovers...

i guess since i don't race or anything but i don't notice that big of a difference in the oem one and trd ones .. the only reason i got them is cause a guy was selling them at a good price to me

keep us posted on what you get and how you like them and dislike them

Dont go Raceland if your hitting the track, they arent meant for hard abuse...

TRD's can soften up after a while.. Progress is the same as TRD.. No dampening adjustment on these either...

Tokico's seem to be good on price and perform well.. Falseidolsfall (Dawn) has them on her NOSed tC..

Never heard of KYB's..

Tien's are the best, and you can get the digital in car adjuster... Just be prepared to spend the dough..

Heres where you should buy, no matter what you get.. They have many different options, including the Tien's and controller.. Not to mention great customer service and endorsed by the Better Business Bureau...

If I was racing I'd go coil-over, unless you have to maintain stock ride height to stay in class.
