I don't know a lot about headlights. I would like to see if anyone has any input to enlighten me. I would like names of the makes and price estimates.

I'm probably not the only one who feels like this but shipping is a bitch. Mainly cuz I hate the wait. But it hasn't stopped me in the past to get a necessarry part. I like the 14000k's even though they are a bit dimmer they are pretty rare, and that purple looks tight as hell

lucky you then, www.oznium.com they have 14k in stock and shipping is only $3.95 for USPS priority mail. usually 2-3 days after shipped out.

The 9006 is for your lows and the 9005 is for the highs. Just get the lows and I don't recommend anything higher than 6000K or 8000K.... the higher the number the more purple they are and the harder it is to see at night when it is dark

I decided on the 14000k's tey look nice plus they're still brighter than the crappy stock ones

yeah they're brighter than stock but the output in distance is worse unless other lights are around.... If you are driving in an area that doesn't have other light to help it is hard to see... I have the 8000K and myself and others have found it hard to see beyond 15-20 feet.... Get what you want but I'm just offering advise.

Yup. I appreciate it. After all this is a forum, but I live in the city so lighting really isn't an issue, plus 14000 is rare and unique and will add to the personality of the car

... and will look rather rice. Sorry - that's just how I feel about those.

Don't get HIDs for your high beams. Most people only flash their highs, which is HORRIBLE for HIDs.... constant power surges to the ballasts & bulbs will burn them out fast.

ricey looking or not I still like them. I guess they will just add to the sleeper look. As for the bulbs burning out faster I guess thats true since they're lit at a higher temp.

would tis kit fit the halo headlight kit??

honestly not sure what your asking....

They may be better known as Demon Eyes. They look really nice but i'm not sure i the bulbs would fit

Stryker Trailwood
08-21-2007, 09:21 PM
oh i see what your asking.

Oznium also sells a tC specific angel/demon/halo kit for a great price...

HID bulbs do nothing to the area where they need to be installed.

only thing that might change is where you end up putting the transformer for the halos and the ballasts for the HIDs. and you can put those where ever you think they fit best and are out of the way.

In other words the HID kit I have now wont fit the halo headlights

Stryker Trailwood

are you saying you have aftermarket headlight housings?

what kit do you have now? im totally confused now....

Binder86

I have the oznium HID kit now. However I recieved a sponsorship and I like the demon eyes kit.

Stryker Trailwood

the install should be the same no matter where you buy it from.

they all consist of cathode rings and a transformer and in some cases a diffuser ring over the cathode rings or a difuser ring with leds in it instead of cathode tubes... the cathode based ones are best. CCFL i think is an acronym used to describe the cathode ones sometimes not sure.

and i really hope i am giving you the right info, if i got something wrong i am very sorry, but this is what i currently beleive to be true..

I have the kit for the stock headlights. The question is would they fit the halos. The bulbs for the halos look circular unlike the stock bulbs.

If your talking about the anzno headlights with the demon eyes already preinstalled....... your stock kit will not fit... those aftermarket headlights take a h1 I think Alls you have to do is get a different bulb.

Stryker Trailwood

i give up, i have no clue what your trying to say dan/ sorry

Krdshrk

The bulb size on the Anzo projector headlights (and most of the other aftermarket projectors for the tC) are a different size than stock (NOT 9006).

Not to worry I'll try to explain it a little easier. Right now I have the stock headlights with the stock 14000k oznium HID kit. I'm looking at Advanced Automotive Concepts Halo Demon Eyes kit (which come with 6000k high and low bulbs) The question is could I fit the oznium kit I have now with the AAC demon eyes kit?
