My name is Thomas and I would like to welcome you to the family. I am a member of the Kern County Chapter. Looks like you are right in the middle, distance wise, of the Kern County Chapter and Ventura Chapter. I don't know which chapter you would prefer for meetings, or even if you can get to either one of the chapters meetings.

You might want to look around your area and see if you can get a few more people signed up. I believe that it only takes 4 members to start a chapter. I hope that one of the more experencied members will correct me if I am wrong. You might also want to try looking in the "Members @ Large" forum here to see if there might be anyone in your area.
