I was just wondering if anyone has ever installed/had experience with eith the FAB body kit or the F-1 kit?

My current front lip is pretty torn up currently and the stock rear lip is...well....steel plating is holding it on. Being that I need to get it re-painted anyway, I figured I may as well get most, if not all, of my exterior mods (that would need painting) installed before hand.

Problem is, I know of a few kits that have really shitty fitment and require either a whole lotta work to make them fit or the JDM bB bumper. My current lip doesn't quite fit, the lower grille would always pop out (lost the right piece when I hit a speed bump) and the place for the bolts on the right was made too thick for a bolt to even reach the bumper. Any help with either of these kits or recommendations to another would be greatly appreciated!

Ryan - I have the TCSportline (F-1) kit. I never installed it on my xB but I traded it to a friend and he installed it on his and the only issue he ran into was with the rear lip.

It's actually a cover that goes over the stock lip and there were a few gaps but nothing a body shop wouldn't be able to fill in for you I am sure.

Your going to get what you pay for... All knockoff kits/lips are going to require some body work to fit properly. Try looking at some of the companies that use urethane for their products.

^that's the reason why I never installed the kit on my car, I didn't want to deal with any issues I may/may not have run into.

Ryan, just replace the front lip with this and find some OEM sideskirts if you need to replace those too.

Mike, I really like that front lip, may have to get it. It doesn't say on the site, but since its a JDM part, will it require the bB front bumper to fit? I wanted the Weld kit that was listed on that site until I saw it required the bB bumper as well as some extensive body work just to fit.

Its not so much the side skirts that need replacing as much as the rear lip (like I said, its being held on with a couple pieces of steel plating and is just in pretty bad shape. Just wish NewScionParts had rear lips listed alone too.

No bB bumper needed. It fits right up to the xB bumper using all of the mounting points of the stock lip.
