Hi all,
Looking into getting some Glowshift gauges. Anyone here have these? feedback? Will I need to get an adapter for the Water temp sending unit? Also, Does the Toyota house sell paint to match the interior plastic so I can match the pillar? Any help / info / advice would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Dave C.

I got some paint from sherwin williams that matched pretty close, your best, to just wrap it the pillars and redo the headliner though it'll look alot better, and I know the volt guage is an easy install if you've done electronics before, not sure about the others

What gauges are you looking for? I don't think their stuff is very high quality. I wouldn't reccommend it. My pillar pod looks and fits like crap.

yea I got the heirautomotive (scionlife, search for him/them) a pillar pod, it fits fairly well but to my knowledge the xb has no direct replacement pillar pod
now the guages themselves I've had no issues out of my volt guage

Thanks for the replys,
I am wanting to put in an oil pressure, Water temp, and a volt gauge. I have seen several places on the net doing the 3 gauge pillars, even 1 does a 4 gauge. I know that the gauges through glowshift are probably not the best but it is better than a dummy light. But if the glow shift pillar fits and looks like crap, I'm out. Gotta be a nice part and good fit. Any other suggestions on a nice 3 gauge pillar?

like I said I got the heir, either way you will have to attatch it to your stock pillar and cut holes in the stock one

I've ordered 3 pillar sets for both my xb's. So far I've got the pod and gauges installed and lit up. The pod required some minor trimming on the top edge to fit properly but it looks decent.
I ran into problems w/ the oil filter sandwich adaptor where the fitting that screws onto the engine oil filter nipple is too short. I've contacted the company and they say they've never run across the problem before. There are some minor changes it seems between 2006 and 2006.5's and the nipple length may be one of them. I'm just going to tee off the engine sending unit instead. I forgot to order a temp sender adapter and it should be here today.
All in all it's not a bad set, especially for the money and it sure beats just having idiot lights to rely on.

I got their full a-pillar pod on my tC - I'm glad I cheaped out and bought the black one because I'd be pissed if I paid $60 and it fit like it does. I got it situated and snug so that it doesn't pull my stock trim down anymore, but now I got like a wave going down the backside of the pod. It doesn't look terrible, but it annoys me sometimes.
As far as gauge installation goes, the easiest to install are Voltometer, Boost, and Oil Pressure - took me like 25 minutes to do all 3. Make sure your connections are strong though - use wire nuts if you can help it. I had a problem with flickering because I just folded the wires together and taped em. So do it right the first time because taking apart a gauge pod to fix shit is ANNOYING!

Yeah I've got that "wave" on the back too... it's actually warped looking. Bad.
