Hey fellow scikotic members,

I just installed my new header and downpipe.
The new header is fine but the downpipe gave me trouble.

I have a 06 scion tc

1. The downpipe rattles when I drive, correct me if I'm wrong but on the stock downpipe there was a metal piece around the middle of the downpipe, I did not not put that on therefore there is more room for it to shake. Is that the reason?

2. I couldnt get the sensor off the the stock downpipe so I just cut the wires, I'm looking on Ebay and found a $20 replacement sensor thing is its a plug in and the one on ebay only comes with the sensor and wires without the plug in, can I re-use the plug in and somehow connect the wires to the plug?

here is a link to the sensor

Can I still drive the car without the sensor until it comes in the mail 3-4 days?

Thanks

I have the same problem with the downpipe I think you are right with that metal piece im going to need to get one because that rattle is annoying.
