Thanks to a few friends, myself, and Curt at C&C, my tC is finally lowered/aligned haha.. it only took 11 months of it being stock height for me to finally have it done.

Setup includes: Hotchkis springs (approximately 2 inch drop), Hotchkis rear camber kit, and SPC front camber kits

(Mine's the white one)

About time! :D

You didn't do the rear sway? 2 minute install while you're down there anyway.

Go with the TRD rear sway. It's all you need. Hotchkis front sway is a huge pain to install. You have to drop the entire front suspension.

Really? Wow you have to drop the whole front suspension.. That sucks!
Do you have the TRD rear sway bar?

Yeah I have the TRD Rear sway - it's awesome. Couple that with a front strut bar and you're golden.

Then put in the TRD rear sway and you're good! The handling will be 10x better.

Oh yeah - put it on Race setting, not Street.

Thread Jack In Progress watch out

for rear sways, i prefer progress or hotchkis. They're a little stiffer than TRD.

Myself, I was thinking about getting the Hotchkis front and rear sway set. Now I think I'm just gonna stick to rear sways. The front isn't necessary and is a PITA to install, as stated previously.

Vanessa

Do you need an alignment after installing any sway bars? whether it be aftermarket front/rear or just the rear sway bar?

crackinabox

thekevin

As far as I know, an alignment is not needed.

My visibility can't be beat. I like the color of my lights. They are a light lavendar. They look just like factory 04/05 TL headlights. Josh never complains to me about visibility so it must be ok.

It could be the exposure of the picture too. It's hard to tell true colors from pictures sometimes.

Krdshrk

Actually, the higher in color temperature you go (Over 4300K), the dimmer the light.

The brightest HIDs are yellow-white 4300K.

tC's are nice lowered i would just be safe when going over masisve lager ass speed bumps. i know that seed bumps crack & break bodykits & also stock set ups... just some FYI ;)

your car dose look nice. if i do lower my tC i will only drop it 1inch or 1 & 1/2 so i can still wrap 19's or 20's on it ;) my rule with the tC i am building is go large or go home sad
