Need some opinions on a car bra

I've only had the xD for 2 months and already I have chips and scratches on the front bumper from the cinders and salt they put on the roads here in Pennsylvania:censored:
So I put on the car bra to see what it looks like, but had to really stretch it to get it over the 5-Axis front lip. How horrible does it look?

Hmmm... Well, I personally don't care for it, but thats a taste issue....

I would buy the clear adhesive protectant sheets by 3M and install that. Other issue is bras rub as they do move with the wind and driving, grit gets between them and the car and they can do some pretty amazing damage. So keep an eye on that...

Well, I cut out the screen areas in the bra, for the upper and lower grills and the fog light area, and now it looks a little better:c8l:. I'll probably keep it on until winter is over.

But! If I had to deal with that road nonsense, I'd have one too! Its only part of the year right? I think its worth saving your paint.

If you are just running it in the winter it's probably not bad but overall I don't care for bras that much. Also be careful cuz I have seen vinyl bras like that rub paint off certain areas do to wind etc.

I don't like it either!!!!! BUT...they use small, black pebbles/rocks on the roads here in central PA, I think they call them 'cinders'. Damn rocks is what they are!:evil: :banned:I'll have to post a pic of the stuff tomorrow.

I rock a Colgan Custom car bra to shows and long trips out of town. Don't car what it looks like as long as it is saving my paint.

Didn't know they made one like that for the D. Looks like it's not very tight...don't like it :\ I'd only use that for a road trip or something. Like other ppl said, clear 3m bras are the way to go.

It does look a little better with the mesh cut out, but that might allow it to float more in wind and at highway speeds... Just keep an eye on things to make sure it does not have spots it is rubbing the paint off your car... Roc chips suck, but you can touch and buff to get rid of em... not the case if that bra rubs you raw!
