Hey all,
So i just got done installing a short shifter in my xA and while i love it it did not come with a new press lock washer thing for the center tension rod. I used a drill collar with a set screw to hold it there and it seemed to work for a bit, but the stick now can rock side to side in gear (does not pop out or anything)
I am just worried the collar is not holding it strong enough is it nomal for short shifters to rock side to side in the gears? Also it seems the center tension isn't as strong with the new shifter. So is this rod spring thing my issue or is something else wrong, OR am i being paranoid?'
