Hey all! I was looking into getting a grille for my scion tC and I found 2 nice ones on mcgeorge parts. But I was wondering are these really worth the price/are there better ones out there?

The 1st one is a 2pc Solid Billet Aluminum Grille Insert for 295.00

And the Second one is a 4pc Polished Aluminum tC Framed Perimeter Grille for 339.95

And what is the average cost of installation (since I have no clue how to install one myself, etc.)

Thanks much!!! :)

Those 2 are ok looking. They should be very easy to install. Don't do it at a dealership, they'll rob you blind on the install costs.

Check on eBay for the Figure LLC Grilles or other grilles. VRD makes a RS2.0 style grille too i think.

those arnt bad looking at all but the price is pretty damn steep that could be a whole bunch of smaller mods and a grille if you can find something similar but not that brand

VRD is definitely a good option. It's a plastic grill that is actually better than stock quality and also snaps in just like stock grill, so no drilling or zip ties required.
You shouldn't pay anything for installation. I'm sure there are some scikotics in your area that will help you out, only takes like 5 minutes to install.

Here's a pic of mine in black, they also have chrome & titanium.

Has anyone bought a grille off of ebay? I am always nervous to get car parts on that site...

Not sure about the tCs but I've heard feedback on most of the knockoff xB grills on ebay and none of it has been good. Most people end up using them as templates to make their own grill.

What are some good sites to find grilles for the tC?

I would stay away from the ebay grilles unless it's a company someone recommends. Every post I've ever read on ebay grilles all say fitment is crap.
Good grilles are....
VRD - plastic, easy stock replacement
Figure LLC - metal, requires zip ties and a few small holes to be drilled
Grillcaft - same as figure grill
Alot of people have taken a spare stock lower grill and cut it to fit in the upper.

Those are the cleanest / easiest options I've seen so far.
