Does anyone have any experience with this subs?? http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Subwoofers/Shallow/TS-SW841D
I am wanting to mount them where the rear speakers are.

are u looking to put them near where the speakers are or actually put them in the door

I want to put them in the rear panel where the stock speakers are

pretty sure your gonna have to build some kind of box that would fit in there othrwise idk how it would sound

If you just put them in the door without an enclosure they're gonna sound like regular speakers. And you might damage them if you use them as subs without the enclosure cause there's nothing there to allow them to build the punch/air pressure needed to make them act as subs. so doors prolly aren't going to work too well for subs unless you make some kind of enclosure

It says that they are free air subs so i shouldn't need an enclosure.

yes and no a free air sub uses the air around it like if u were to put it in a trunk it wold us the tunk as its box im not sure how it would do in the doors though
